CSA probationers of 43rd Common visit PEF
A 18 member delegation of probationers of civil service academy, Lahore paid a two day visit to Punjab Education Foundation (PEF). On the occasion, the officers were briefed by the Managing Director Punjab Education Foundation, Mr. Ali Jan Khan about various programs of free education and their socio-economic impact on the lower echelon of the society and maintained that transparency is ensured in PEF working. He told that PEF is playing a leading role in achieving the goals and objectives of Punjab school education reforms program by arranging free education for out of school and dropout children in different districts. He also maintained that such programs play important role in eradicating ignorance and poverty alleviation by education-promotion and giving necessary awareness to the parents. Education is the most conspicuous symbol of hope and success while teachers act as ‘change agents’ at the grassroots.
Later, the delegation visited two different PEF partner schools in Lahore and enquired the students and teachers about the quality of education. They also visited various departments of the PEF and enquired about various workings.
